Night One: Enough from Your Hand
"For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing." Deuteronomy 2:7
Moses spoke these words at the far edge of the desert, looking back over forty years of sand. Not one of those years had been easy, and not one of them had been empty. The manna had come every morning. The water had found them in the strangest places. Their shoes had not worn out. When the whole story was told, the summary was startling in its plainness: thou hast lacked nothing. Not abundance, perhaps, but enough, and enough arriving every single day.
Tonight, look back over your own stretch of wilderness. You may not be able to explain how you made it through certain months, yet here you are, fed, breathing, still held. The proof of His provision is not in your cupboard but in your survival. He knoweth thy walking, the verse says. Every step has been watched, and every need has been met from a hand that never once closed. You can stop counting what is missing now. Let that knowledge lower you gently into sleep.
Father, You have watched every step of my walking, and I have lacked nothing that I truly needed. Forgive me for measuring my life by what is missing. Tonight I receive what is given, and I call it enough. Amen.
